This Privacy Policy describes how KyCaseWorks LLC, a Delaware limited liability company operating ShiftLine at shiftlinealerts.com, collects and uses personal information.
Information we collect
- Account information: first and last name, email address, ZIP code and password.
- Mobile phone number: only if you choose to receive SMS alerts. It is optional.
- Information you enter into the product: the records described on the How It Works page.
- Consent records: timestamp, page URL, and the exact consent wording shown to you.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and basic analytics.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, bank credentials or payment card numbers. Paid plans are processed by our payment processor, which handles card data directly; we receive only the last four digits and the card brand.
How we use your mobile phone number
Your mobile number is used for one purpose: to send the messages described in our SMS Terms. Specifically, text messages about hourly and shift-based job openings that match the profile you created, plus reminders for interviews you schedule through ShiftLine.
We do not sell, rent, lease or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties, affiliates or marketing partners for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are shared only with our messaging carrier and aggregator solely to transmit the messages you asked for.
How we use other information
- To create and operate your account.
- To generate the alerts and records you asked for.
- To answer support requests.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
Service providers
We use a small number of vendors: a cloud hosting provider, an email delivery provider, an SMS aggregator and a payment processor. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function and is contractually barred from using it for its own purposes. We do not use data brokers and we do not buy contact lists.
Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and for 24 months after closure. SMS consent records are retained for five years. Opt-out records are retained permanently so a suppressed number is never re-added. You can request deletion at any time.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to end SMS immediately.
- Turn SMS off in account settings without closing your account.
- Unsubscribe from email using the link in any email.
- Request access, correction, a copy or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected].
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. In the twelve months preceding the date above we have not sold or shared personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. To make a request, email [email protected] or call +1 833 737 3472. We verify requests by confirming control of the account email address and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request with written permission.
Other state privacy rights
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights of access, correction, deletion and portability, and may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision. Use the same contact address above.
Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored encrypted at rest. Passwords are hashed. Access to production data is limited to the personnel who need it. Form submissions are sent by POST; personal information is never placed in a URL query string.
Children
The service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes affecting how we use phone numbers will be announced before they take effect.
